The Waterbed Play Area is specially designed to encourage toddler movement. The Coral Reef Kingdom also has displays with colorful ocean creatures and differently shaped blocks to help children learn. Toddlers will also enjoy the Touch Pool of the Enchanted Kelp Forest, which allows kids and parents to touch sea stars, abalones, sea urchins, kelp crabs and more.

 

Eating options at the Aquarium include an on-site picnic area for guests behind the Education Building and the Portola Restaurant and Café.
